Pop Quiz

Filed under: Uncategorized — ninsianna @ 1:32 pm

This one’s for the boys.

Scenario:
You dated a girl for a good while - long enough that you were both exclusive, and both expressed love for each other. Then one day you realize you don’t love her anymore. Like a good guy, you break it to her as best you can. She cries, obviously, is confused, but you’re insistent that it’s over.
Jump ahead a month or so. You’ve gone out with a few other girls, nothing serious. She calls. She leaves you a nice long message about how much she still loves you, wants to work it out, and would you just come over so you two can talk.

What do you do?
a) Take her up on it; after all maybe you can work it out
b) Take her up on it, after all you know you’ll get some, and she was a great lay. It has been a couple weeks since you last scored some nice ass.
c) Take her up on it, and explain to her it’s over then sleep with her again anyway
d) Don?t return the call.
e) Go over there, tell her it’s over as best you can, and don’t let anything get out of hand.

See below for the correct answer and explanations as to why the others are wrong.

Comments anyone?

Distract me

Please.

Things I really need to do:
Take a quiz for school (by monday)
Pack up the stuff that I haven’t packed and can do w/out for a day or 2
Go through and pack up all the other stuff I keep overlooking
Buy essentials we need for the move in, such as trash bags and trashcans, cleaning supplies, broom, mop, dish soap… the list goes on, which leads me to…

Things I’ll probably end up doing
Color my hair
Re-Read HP: OotP
Sit and stress over stuff I have no control over
Procrastinate
Plan housewarming party
Spend more time thinking about what needs to be done, than actually doing anything.
Find more fun distractions.

Just think, 24 hours from now, I’ll still be waiting.

Arizona and Indiana are D U M dumb

Filed under: Uncategorized — ninsianna @ 3:01 pm

This Sunday the time changes again. Which means one less hour of fun at Church on Sunday.

So here’s my question. at 1:59am, it is still 1:59am. - but at 2am it’s 3am. So what about all these clubs that are open til 2. Do they still stay open? Am I going to be cut short an hour of my fun?

Oh, btw, Arizona and Indiana don’t do the daylight savings thing.

Point being - don’t forget to change your time on Sunday at 2am, unless you’re in Arizona or Indiana.

***UPDATE***
Found the answer to my own question here:

Nationwide, U.S. restaurants and bars have varied closing policies. In many states, liquor cannot be served after 2 a.m. But at 2 a.m. in the Fall, the time switches back one hour. So, can they serve for that additional hour in October? The official answer is that the bars do not close at 2 a.m. but actually at 1:59 a.m. So, they are already closed when the time changes from Daylight Saving Time into Standard Time. In practice however, many establishments stay open an extra hour in the Fall.

Sorta. Answers the questions about Fall, so I guess that means, that they stay open til 1:59, which should not affect my fun at all. And after all, that is most important.

Oh, and I should clarify, Hawaii is dumb, only the Easter half of Indiana is dumb, and the Navajo Indian Reserve in Arizona is are not dumb, but most of the rest of the state is.

Woefull Wednesday

Filed under: Uncategorized — ninsianna @ 9:14 am

I don’t know why it’s woefull, just seemed to suit my mood. As I’ve said before I’m impatient.

Didnt’ sleep well last night, couldn’t get to sleep. Efiesaitch didn’t eat much. Luna’s eating only half her food anymore, and not at her normal feeding time. I think the animals probalby know something’s up.

Mom is second guessing her plan to have me bring Darwin down here w/ me. I told her I’m coming up in May w/ the dog crate. She has until then to make up her mind. We’re getting another dog. If not Darwin, Phlome and I will go to the SPCA and find him a puppy. We may bring Luna with us, to see if she likes any of them. Chances are, she’ll just cower.

And just for Phlome:

Failure

No one has expressed an interest in any shirts - so I’m going to order a few for myself. Hopefully I can get them in by this weekend. I think we’re going to the church, and I planon wearing one to do a little advertising.

Homeowners

Filed under: Uncategorized — ninsianna @ 4:37 pm

Ok - so I think this is about all I’ll have to talk abou this week. House stuff, new furniture stuff, garden stuff, dog stuff, housewarming party stuff, etc. etc. ad nauseum.

So as you all know (how could you now know, see that big countdown timer over there?) Friday is the big day. We’ve got plans in the works for a housewarming party on the 23rd. I’m still deciding on if I want a low key late afternoon thing, or just go for the all out party and start post-dinner. It kind of depends on how domestic I’m feeling, I imagine.

Oh yeah - we scheduled the furniture for delivery on Saturday. So we’ll have real living room furniture. Not sure where Phlome’s ever so wonderful *cough* recliner will go, now though. I’m sure there will be room in the garage. We also got a spare queen bed for the guest room. Very plain jane, no headboard, just new mattresses and a frame.
If Zero is still up for it, I’m going to buy his dresser from him, the one I’ve been using for the last 2 years anyway. I think we’re pretty well set for the house.

I’m supposed to buy decorative grass sometime early next week to start planting along the back fence, along w/ some perennials and other flowers for the back yard. I think i want to make a compost pile too.

Ok - it’s 4:35 - 25 minutes to waste before I go to class…

This was on the radio this morning: 911 Call. Mind you this isn’t the station I listen to, just the station where I found it online.

Also, I think Phlome is jealous of Efiesaitch. He tried to convince me that Efiesaitch was dead this morning. He wasn’t, he was just chillin’ behind the plastic plant.

****
I don’t think I’m gonna make it to Fridya. The anticipation is killing me.

Flashback Friday

Filed under: Uncategorized — ninsianna @ 11:50 am

I’m sure there are radio stations in every region with some sort of flashback to the 80’s friday. Will this post is inspired by Neko, who yesterday posted a flashback to this time last year.

So I went back through my archives (here take a look for yourself).

This time last year, I was just about to hear that I got this job (where I currently work) and was looking forward to submitting my letter of resignation. It was a very happy time for me.

What about you? What were you doing last year on March 25th?

Just one more week! Yay! I can’t wait.
This time next week I’ll be working from home, anxiously awaiting noon, when we can go sign our paperwork for our house!

As for the Goth Girls are Easy shirts. Ladies, just let me know what size and style you want. I’m offering a one time freebe, in exchange for posting a link on your site and/or wearing the shirt out where people who might be interested in this type of shirt can see it. You are of course more than welcome to purchase your own shirt from the cafepress page.
Please let me know the shirt you want by Monday of next week. I’ll be placing the orders that afternoon.

Thanks for you help!
No back to work…
