1. What year was it?

1996

2. What were your three favorite bands?

This was during decline in my obsession with music NKOTB had ruined me. But I still liked Presidents of the USA, Smashing Pumpkins and Greenday

3. What was your favorite outfit?

I think I was going grunge bordering on goth - but goth took too much effort so I was more grunge. Too much flanel and black.

4. What was up with your hair?

Long straight no bangs, by this time I had started dying it on occasion, never venturing too far from my natural though - always shades of light reds and blondes.

5. Who were your best friends?

First half of the year: Jess, Jeremy, Mike, Nathan. 2nd half, after Jeremy dumped my ass, and he won all my friends, it became more Katie and Kristen, with a little David in here and there for good measure, not sure if friend is the appropriate term for him though.
6. What did you do after school?

I worked at Sears or went out with Katie or Kristen, sometimes earlier in the year I hung out with Jeremy etc. at Mohawk park or his place, when we weren’t hiding from his paranoid schizophrenic step father type person.

7. Did you take the bus?

I lived less than 5 blocks away- no I did not ride the bus. But I did drive - my chevy beretta.

8. Who did you have a crush on?

After dating Jeremy I crushed, and whatever else you wanna call it, on David.

9. Did you fight with your parents?

Oh yeah - this was a rather bad time btwn mom and I.

10. Who did you have a CELEBRITY crush on?

Antonio Banderas.

11. Did you smoke cigarettes?

Nope

12. Did you lug all of your books around in your backpack all day because you were too nervous to find your locker?

No - with the split schedule (A classes and B classes on alternating days) we had fewer books to carry, and rarely if ever used our lockers.

13. Did you have a ‘clique’?

Throughout HS my clique changed, by my sr. year, like Jess said, it was she and I and a much of geeky boys, who we liked to mock for their geekiness.

14. Did you have “The Max” like Zach, Kelly and Slater?

I just totally had to google that shit. And no. - Ditto
Though I think sometimes we really needed a place like that - but we were all broke, so we just hung out at eachothers houses.

15. Admit it, were you popular?

I was somewhat popular, mainly because I was involved in so many damn clubs my first 3 years - but then all the cheerleaders ostracized me because I wasn’t sleeping around enough with the right guys, getting drunk and/or pregnant.

16. Who did you want to be just like?

I wanted to be that girl in all the 80’s movies that “the guy” (ususally John Cusack) doesn’t want at the first of the movie cuz she’s not all blonde haired bimboey, but then at the end realizes his best galpal/friend is really the love of his life.

17. What did you want to be when you grew up?

A highpowered wealthy business woman.

18. Where did you think you’d be at the age you are now?

Married with a kid or two and wildly successful with my degree in International Business and traveling the world.
