This weekend I want to do something with my hair. Something new. Something trendy maybe? I might even go the way of some layers. But I really have no clue what the trends are now. Any suggestions? By the way, my hair is now a darkish rid if that helps at all.
I absolutley love this Taco Bell Carne Asada commerical. Mostly because I can feel the pain of the lion who can’t roll his Rs. I can’t roll my Rs either:

Approximagely 7 or 8 absolutley Ghetto Fab teenagers ranging in estimated age of 16 - 20 of the African-American pursuasion climb/stumble/strut/swagger out of an SUV (I do believe there was at least gentleman proudly displaying his pimp-stick). As teens are likely to be when the are dressed to the nines and in large groups - the were acting quite boisterous and, some would say even rowdy.
But HAVE NO FEAR - BUBBA IS HERE!!!!
During the mini fashion show of Ghetto Fabulousness that filed out of the SUV and into the convenience store in this small former captial of Oklahoma territory, there was one Bubba Jones* watching the entire procession with a sneer of sheer disgust. The slight tilt of his head, and wide legged stance protrayed to any concerned caucasian that should these hoodlums decide to turn their Ghetto fab ensemble into a full out drive by shooting/hold up, he was certainly prepared to run back to his pick-em-up truck and grab his shotgun to handle the situation.
When the “posse” all entered the convenience store sans incident, Bubba decided it was safe for him to stroll back on to his truck and drive off into the sunset, having ensured yet another eventless trip to the convenience store.
I confess that I laughed at the NPR marketplace update today. To paraphrase:
Bristol-Meyers Squibb was rejected in their bid for a merger with Sanofi-Aventis on the grounds that their name would just be too long.
This weekend we are going up to see my great grandmother and celebreate her 100th birthday. She won’t actually be 100 until Tuesday, but the fam is all getting together this weekend.
